New Moon Party

All fourteen black bears
Wore their best blue vests.
The ducks, geese, and chickens
Swayed slowly on their nests.
The foxes yipped, the coyotes yapped.
The monkeys stomped their feet and clapped.
Every pig danced like a dancing fool.
The turtles and frogs frolicked in the pool.
The cow chorus mooed a brand new tune
As the animals greeted the new full moon.
